Nicks final word pairing essay
I would like to start with this is my final word paring essay thank goodness.
My essay today will be on the words gang and club. I will also be discussing there history, definition, and what they have in common and what they do not.

        For club the definisions I got from the dictionary's were an association of persons all meting for a common person.For gangs I got the same reaction except gang means a group of persons having informal and usally close social relations. Real world examples were for club there were lots of examples of fire and party's raided for gangs I found nothing but many paper's talking about court cases. The type of person that would use this word is basically everyone because tons of people talk about clubs and things that happen at them and people are always talking about how gangs are trouble and nothing good comes from them.

       A way the words gang and club can be used are like I went to the club last week you should have been there or I hate gang's there full of a bunch of punk kids. If i had to gues what elevation of english this is I would standard because these are common words people use weekly. On the history of these words for club I found it has been in all ancient city states we know of and the word has changed many times over the years and origin of the language is unknown for gang I found its been around since there was the first group of criminals so like thousands of years and its in all languages origin unknown.

      As for the conatations of these words I would say gang is mostly negative because people are always hurt when there around gangs and I would say club is looked at positively because people are always having fun partying unless your the neighbor trying to sleep. I would say gang and club are both abstract words because you may know what they mean and have a set thought when you hear them but there are a lot of clubs out there and a lot of gangs out there to.
When you hear the word gang you think of a bunch of criminals who do drugs and rob stores and mug people and steal. When you thing of club you think of a bunch of people ether doing drugs listing to loud music having a good time or a bunch of people drinking and dancing and guys trying to get women.

      For my conclusion I would like to make a comment. This essay is not my opinon of these words but it is the opinon of many for that is why I have written it this way.
